As an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator of a microbiology laboratory at Michigan State University, I led a multidisciplinary research group that investigated the molecular mechanisms and evolutionary dynamics of microbial signaling and pathogenesis. With over 14 years of experience in academic research, I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles, secured competitive grants, and patented a novel method to modulate bacterial responses to oxidative stress.In addition to conducting cutting-edge research, I also mentored and trained students and postdocs in various aspects of microbiology, genomics, and computational modeling. I taught a writing-intensive course on Microbial Genomics and received positive feedback from both students and colleagues. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and understanding of microbial systems and their implications for health and sustainability. I recently relocated to France and I am eager to apply my skills and expertise to new and exciting projects in the biotechnology sector.
