Authorized Officer - Metals DeskTasks within the Metals Desk:- Acting as the customers first entry contact person with the bank;- Managing the economic positions and collaterals for a portfolio of international commodity traders (dealing in steel, base metals and coal);- Ensuring the setup and independent handling of CTF operations within the credit approval framework, business rules and policies and compliance rulings;- Supervising and overseeing the daily commitments and collaterals;- Keeping the clients economical positions updated;- Monitoring the transactional risk and following up and controlling the collateral assessment;- Valuing on marked-to-market as well as checking the documentation and informing relationship managers and management;- Ensuring that the treasury, margin, deadlines, duration and due dates were followed up;- Contributing to the onboarding process of new transactions and developing the business flow of existing clients;- Maintaining close cooperation with other departments such as Documentary Credit, Compliance and Credit Risk
