•Negotiate and/or generate contracts against trade capture and purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring to use the correct payment terms and the relevant industry trading terms. •Work closely with relevant authorities (i.e. PORAM, ECTN, LINERS, etc) to make sure all procedures are up to date, followed and respected.•Liaise with suppliers, our accounting department, local and oversea banks to assist in daily finance planning by monitoring transactions on various bank accounts.•Keep tracks of our Forex trades and credits deadlines.•Monitor our factory closely and keep control of the stocks. Make sure the raw material is available just-in-time and communicate daily with raw material suppliers, factory, freight forwarders, shipping line and customers in order to avoid any possible issues.•Follow-up tightly on letter of Credit, bank and shipping documents to avoid any payment delay.•Collaborate with freight forwarders, suppliers in Asia and cargo inspection companies to avoid delays and help them to foresee the possible issues. •Inform customers on payments, arrivals, schedules and routing. Coordinate with destination’s shipping agents to ensure on time delivery and avoid D&D. •Negotiate fees, handle claims and disputes. •Respond effectively and proactively to problems.•Maintain good relationship with suppliers and service providers; liaise with commercial, legal, treasury, tax, ocean transportation and accounting to solve any kind of problems related to our shipments; •Manage and back up operation records, files, database including checking weekly on debtors & creditors from accounting department to ensure clean books and checking monthly on inventories for audit purpose; •Manage a small team including paying salaries, CPF, offices’ invoices as well as organising the leaves. •Coordinate with both Singapore and Malaysia parties for taxes / SST / MPOB and any government matters.
