Hi, I'm Yannick Crawford, an Experienced Information Technician with a rich background in a variety of technical roles. As a proud U.S. Navy veteran with seven years of dedicated service, I have honed my skills in troubleshooting, software applications, and networking systems.Educationally, I've pursued my passion for technology by completing an Engineering Science degree at Westchester Community College, working on obtaining a BS from the University of Maryland Global College in Cybersecurity, and undergoing comprehensive training as an Electronic Technician with the US Navy Reserve. These experiences have sharpened my technical acumen, providing me with a solid foundation to build upon in my professional endeavors.My professional journey began as an Advanced Service Technician at Altice Communications, where I handled complex technical service, repair, and customer support tasks for almost a decade. I then took on the role of a Level 4 Field Technician at Spectrum, responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of cable TV and internet services.In the Navy, I served as both an Electronic Technician and an Information Technician. During my time in Norfolk, VA, I specialized in Windows Desktop, Apple OS, and Microsoft Office Applications, focusing on network design and data transfer optimization. More recently, in Bahrain, I have taken on more administrative and leadership roles, overseeing LAN/WAN installations, software support, hardware implementation, and database administration. I have also had the privilege to lead and train less senior Navy Information Systems Technicians.Being CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ certified, along with holding a US Government Secret Clearance, emphasizes my commitment to continued professional growth and information security. My core hard skills include Technical Service and Repair, Troubleshooting, OS, Networks, VOIP, and Network Configuration. However, I also pride myself on my soft skills such as Communication, Problem Solving, Adaptability, and Teamwork, which enable me to interact effectively with clients and colleagues alike.I'm excited to bring my expertise in data analysis and problem-solving to the position of System Analyst.
