- Currently pursuing a PhD in linguistics on the topic of alignment in human-voice assistant interaction. - Also working as a research associate in the project „Experimentierraum digitale Medienkompetenz“ at the Chair of Applied linguistics.- In the project, I design and develop blended learning materials to teach programming skills to humanities and social science students. As the availability of digital data continues to grow, it becomes increasingly indispensable for humanists to be able to tap, process, analyze, and visualize this data effectively. Our materials which are specifically designed for this target audience help them achieve this. - All our materials are open-source and can be found by searching "exdimed-student" on GitHub. - I directly integrate these materials into my programming seminar at TU Dresden, allowing me to continuously improve them.

– Research associate in the Data team working on the SPEAKER project building a voice assistant platform for natural human-machine interaction in B2B use cases.– Involved in collecting German-language data via crowd-sourcing as well as data analysis and augmentation using Python, always aiming at the best tradeoff between data quality and quantity in order to enable NLP models to understand and generate natural language.– Preparing materials and workshops for use case partners on intent classification, entity recognition, slot filling, neural as well as rule-based NLP methods.– Cross-component collaboration with the NLU and UX team.

– Creative job as a kitchen designer helping customers design kitchens which combine great function with outstanding design. – Work as a “studio host” coordinating the work of up to 20 co-workers while being the first contact person for new customers. – Developed my ability to work in a time-efficient manner, delivering sophisticated results to both customers and co-workers.

– Job as a librarian at Basel’s eight libraries including a lot of customer contact. – Developed my ability to meet customers in a service-minded way and to be proactive in advancing the enterprise.
