Yannick GOUEDARD graduated from the Physic Engineers School of Strasbourg (ENSPS - France) in 1999 (computer science + physics). He joined OPTIS same year and became an expert in optical simulation. In 2002-04, he focused on supporting customers and distributors in Asia/Pacific area. In 2005-06, worked closely with automotive manufacturers.November 2006, he joined Hella Innenleuchten-Systeme in south Germany as an optical expert for interior lighting applications in the automotive industry. He focussed on LED applications, designing both relfectors and lightguides for major automotive brands. He also got used to work with norms.June 2008, he joined the main lighting company in Switzerland, Regent Lighting, as Head of the Metrology Laboratory. Goal: accreditation (EN / ISO 17025, BS EN 13032) of the Flux and Intensity measurements part of the lab using a TechnoTeam Near-Field Photogoniometer.He got married in Athens, Greece, the 12th July 2008.He came to live in Athens in August 2009 and worked in a Cypriot lighting distributor company.June 2011, he joined a Greek lighting manufacturer, GALLIS, as technical manager. Achievement: bring LED technology.During 2013, he started to work with The Lighting Consultants (TLC). September 2015, he joined TLC full time. He focused on light guide design. Achievement: created design methods for light guides based on automatic geometry generation routines in CATIA.His family moved to live in Qatar in September 2016.He changed industry and joined a Cypriot MEP contractor, CONSPEL Qatar. He is in charge of the productivity team in the Doha Oasis project. Achievement: moved from an Excel system to SQLite+R+LaTeX. Main table is 500'000 rows in May 2019 (half big-data size).
