As a Data Scientist, I am involved in all the different steps that our clients take with their data: from identifying relevant use cases to building statistical and predictive models, but also auditing pre-existing dataset, exploratory data analysis, etc.

My work on the SilverCrest engine consists in sizing the different actuators and sensors of the Fuel system and ensuring that they will be able to meet the required performance for proper engine operation accross a wide variety of conditions. My work also includes technical reporting, internal to Snecma as well as external (to our client, Dassault Aviation), and technical exchanges with our different parts' suppliers.

When I worked on the LEAP engine, I designed complex systems (cooling of the on-board computer, latent leak detection system) based on test and simlation data, wrote the specifications for the actuators and sensors that were part of those systems and worked on their integration on the engine (from a control and electrical point of view). I conducted regular technical exchanges on the subjects I was working on with our clients (Airbus, Boeing and Comac) and our partner, General Electric.

My job was to establish systems needs and formalize those need through written requirements for the software team, to investigate and understand events seen during Flight Tests, to improve existing control logics and to write new ones according to what was seen during tests.As such, I was in regular contact with both our client (Airbus Military) and our partners (MTU Aeroengines, Rolls Royce).
