In this role I am working on the long term developments in the aviation sector as a whole, and Air Traffic Control in specific. Subjects are Unmanned Aviation, Civil-Military ATC, airports and ground/tower operations.

In this role I am hired by LVNL as a Strategic Advisor and Project Manager, working on different projects on both Airports and Airspace. In this role as a strategic advisor, I am involved in the early stages of the development of new healthcare real estate. For a provider of care for elderly people, I work on the feasibility of new real estate and the integration of new healthcare concepts.

The Aircraft process at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol: I am responsible for a number of complex, process-transcending issues on airside. In this I am working on policies on how to make efficient, safe and sustainable use of (existing) airport capacity, despite the diverse challenges that the aviation sector faces. I believe that knowledge and experience of the operation is key in developing strategies. That is why I made the switch to the operation: to gain experience and knowledge on the core of the airport. I use this knowledge and experience in making workable strategies and solutions for the long term. My areas of interest include:• Winter operation (vision and process responsibility)• Deicing (vision and process responsibility)• Development APOC (Integrated airport control)• Turnaround Insights (AI based sollution for insights at the stand)• Urban Air Mobility (How to integrate this new modality in an existing airport)• Digital developments (Business Owner at Schiphol Digital).• A number of smaller issues, such as autonomous airside and drones My ambition is to realize the future in a sustainable and efficient way. In my view it is essential to tackle this globally, as aviation sector.  Strategist with affinity and knowledge of the entire airport.

Binnen deze functie zijn mijn aandachtsgebieden veelzijdig en omvatten het hele assetmanagement proces (initiatief, ontwerp, bouw en beheer). Onder anderen: Strategisch Assetmanagement Plan (SAMP), Innovatie, Aanbesteding Maincontracts, Informatiemanagement en Digital. Hierbij schakel ik tussen verschillen niveaus en tijdshorizons.

Als Product Owner (Agile) heb ik tijdelijk leiding gegeven aan een team van 9 personen, met als doel zo spoedig mogelijk duidelijkheid te verschaffen over data en informatie nodig voor de aanbesteding voor nieuwe Maincontracts. Hiervoor was het nodig zo spoedig mogelijk een team te vormen.

Medeoprichter van de Airport Room: een samenwerking tussen (op dit moment 75 internationale Airports, waaronder ADP, TAV, Ferrovial) waarin we deze partijen samen brengen om wereldwijde afstemming te bereiken over Assetmanagement en Open Datastandaarden.

Jong Schiphol heeft als doel ‘jonge’ mensen samen te brengen, en een verrijking voor hun persoonlijke en professionele leven te zijn. Niet alleen intern Schiphol, maar ook binnen de hele Nederlandse luchtvaartsector (o.a. KLM, LVNL, NLR, Transavia, Fokker) en bedrijven daarbuiten . Een mooie combinatie tussen gezelligheid en verbreding.

Weg voorbereiden voor toepassing van BIM (een bewezen manier om je hele informatiemanagement op orde te brengen door middel van 3D computer modellen) binnen Schiphol. De focus was breed: Het opzetten van een programma, ontwikkelingen in de markt stimuleren, toepassing en testen bij projecten (waaronder Capital Programme, en Upgrade pieren)

In deze functie ben ik verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en onderhoud van het terminalgebouw van Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Dit gebouw van ruim 550.000 m2 is een knooppunt van vele verkeersstromen en moet 24 uur per dag in bedrijf zijn. Terminal Real Estate beheert daarnaast voor ruim 150.000 m2 aan bijgebouwen op de luchthaven. Dagelijks ben ik bezig om op strategisch en tactisch niveau het beleid en begroting voor alle bouwkundige assets op te stellen en uit te voeren. Dit met een blik op de middellange en lange termijn. Daarnaast ben ik betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van BIM.

The goal of this non-profit organisation is to collect and distribute old clothing to stimulate the local economies in multiple parts of Africa. This foundation is an intitiative of students from DSC and KSV Sanctus Virgilius.

As chairman I am responsible for the internal affairs of the advisory board and the long-term planning of the foundation. BOSS consists of BOSS Students and BOSS Alumni.

In this position I am researching the information need of the department Terminal Real Estate at Schiphol Airport, as integral part of the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) at the airport. Next to that I am involved in the development of masterplans of (International) Airports. This includes the planning and design of runways, terminal buildings and related infrastructure.

Graduate at the department of Terminal Real Estate. My research is related to Information Flows during renovation projects and Building Information Modeling. The research is conducted in cooperation with Duco Vollebregt.

BOSS | Building Organisation Student Society. BOSS wordt in 1993 door studenten opgericht als praktijkvereniging van de afdeling Real Estate & Housing van de Technische Universiteit Delft als klankbord van de studenten over het onderwijs en om het contact tussen studenten en praktijk te bevorderen. Sinds haar ontstaan organiseert BOSS tal van activiteiten om hieraan vorm te geven.BOSS heeft ongeveer 250 leden. Een deel van de leden zet zich jaarlijks binnen een commissie in om van de activiteiten iets unieks te maken. Het enthousiasme en de toewijding die de leden hierbij laten zien komt dan ook duidelijk tot zijn recht bij de succesvolle activiteiten. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn de Real Estate Career Day, verschillende lezingen met borrels en de Business Tour.

Lid van het 111e Dagelijks Bestuur der KSV Sanctus Virgilius als Commissaris van den Inventaris. Ik was een jaar lang verantwoordelijk voor de societeit, een klooster uit de 15e eeuw in het hart van het centrum van Delft.
