I have been elected for an International Partner Programme by Siemens to attend an internship in a tech Company in Silicon Valley, USA.As a Smart Building Technology Intern at Enlighted in California, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of smart building technology. Working as part of the innovation and venture building team, my role revolved around leveraging existing sensor data throughout their API, by analyzing and finding company’s which would profit from integrating enlighted‘s sensor data into their system and starting a co-sell motion to evolve higher benefits for their clients. Throughout my internship, I actively engaged in data analysis and collaborated with cross-functional teams to understand and identify enlighteds product, their scraped data and how clients could benefit from this in new solutions. These insights were crucial in developing innovative strategies to enhance smart building technology, with a primary focus on energy efficiency, comfort and sustainability.As an intern, I took a proactive approach, consistently meeting project deadlines and seeking feedback to improve my performance. My contributions in team meetings and discussions fostered a collaborative work culture. I was able to experience insights by continues exchanges with colleagues.During this time, I had the privilege of working with artificial intelligence technologies such as large language models like ChatGPT and Bard, which enabled me to efficiently develop a data driven company analysis on potential partnerships considering how easy, beneficial and impactful partnering with them would be and reporting them in a final presentation at the end of the internship to members of the managing board.Beyond technical skills, my internship provided me with valuable insights into the intersection of technology and sustainability.
