Yannis is a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, happily employed, not seeking for a new career opportunity. Yannis received his degree from the Electronics and Computer Engineering School of the Technical University of Crete (TUC), Chania, in 2018. His diploma thesis involved an FPGA-based implementation of a FEC coding scheme for a Wireless Sensor Network. Besides his theoretical expertise in electrical and computer engineering, he is also experienced in the design, implementation and testing of hardware-based devices, applications and testbeds.He has served as the Wireless Systems/Lab Engineer of AIT’s B-WiSE lab. His work involved operating and maintaining lab equipment, designing and running project demos, programming, configuring and troubleshooting wireless network devices and the respective firmware, participating in the lab’s research work and contributing to the lab’s day-to-day and long-term objectives.He later worked as an Information and Communications Technology Engineer at Wings ICT Solutions. His position objective was to design, develop and deploy ICT solutions and systems on the fields of 5G, cloud, IoT and software networks.His current employment is at System73, as a Cloud Infrastructure - Site Reliability Engineer.
