Responsible for global manufacturing partnership (Direct Supplier) operation, purchasing strategy and management work in CES China, including partnership implementation, commercial negotiation, purchasing & quotation cross functional team leading, cost analysis, and VPI program progress;Responsible for Operation Excellence, development of supply chain process to ensure common approach, LEAN methodology adoption, and capital investment budget requirements; Set up operation KPI evaluation system, and lead KPI continuous improvement projects;Play as leader for supply chain operating process, including Planning, Purchasing, Production, Material and Quality management;Lead Operations VPI (Value Package Introduction) swimlane for all of new programs within EmEB (Emerging Markets Business, following TS16949 & APQP;Identify and implement improvement projects to optimize operation performance and better serve our customers; Drive total cost reductions across functions to achieve supply chain management excellence; Responsible for fix assets budget control within EmEB, and rolling forecast maintenance. Maintain capital investment analysis; Develop and optimize an effective Capex procedure and set of monitoring and reporting relationships;Support new plant start up project of CES JV in China.

Internal transfer from global corporate in US to new facility in Tianjin, implement global Operation Excellence system and QRM (Quick Response Manufacture) module in China facilities;Responsible for all Operational Excellence projects in China region, lead LEAN activities in cross functions supply chain management, including production management, material flow, inventory control, etc, to improve supply chain efficiency and lower operating cost;Lead KAIZAN groups to do KAIZAN events in operation functions;Build operation excellence culture in plant, including value stream, JIT, TPM, and provide Lean training with different function groups;Support SAP PP & MM module implementation progress in new facilities in China, participate business analysis and process design, make sure SAP modules meet operating requirements; Drive all processes for use of SAP for Supply Chain;Set up operation KPI evaluation system for all departments including planning, procurement, production, logistics and quality management, and give advices on process improvement; Acting as a key interface between regional Operation Excellence Execution with Global Operation team, to improve parts planning, and inventory control;Taking function role in business expanding projects in China;

Responsible for master routing improvement, and manufacturing standard execution;Analyze resource utilization, facility layout, production performance data, and initiate Kaizen events to continuous improving;Maintain SAP master routing for rotating factory on daily base, according to capacity, ERN, and other manufacture issue;Work on P&H China project, developing manufacturing package, SAP routing, and coordinating Chinese core team training;Lead one of projects in Joy Global Ex. Op. program, setting standard process and cycle time for Tianjin new factory, and comparing with Milw. rates for Lean improvement in both sides; make sure China facilities align with global standards;Design POLCA (material management) system as part of Quick Response Manufacture project, and update MPX model to analyze production capacity, lead time, WIP, and other dynamic factor on shop floor.
