Worked closely with the computer scientist and user interface expert to provide design documents and development plans.Developed a mobile pdf reader for Android. It can decide whether to allow a user to view pdf documents based on the user’s location, which is determined on the information collected from GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The app is developed in Java on Nexus S smartphone.Developed a context aware Android widget in Java. It can provide persuasive advices to mobile users when they access apps and documents. SQLite database is used to store data.

Proposed an algorithm to model differentiated trust to adapt to different needs and contexts in decentralized systems, such as P2P (peer to peer) systems. Implemented and evaluated this algorithm in Java on JADE(Java Agent Development Framework).Proposed a super-agent based reputation mechanism to facilitate agents to discover information efficiently and effectively. A reward mechanism is also proposed to reward agents for contributing their resources.Proposed a mechanism of discovering and forming communities to bring agents with similar interests together to facilitate them to share information and resources.Developed a multi-agent testbed in C# to evaluate the above proposed mechanisms.

Participated in the development of EPG (Electronic Program Guide) system for the STB (Set Top Box) in C++.Assisted the QA teams to roll out test plans and discover the root causes of the issues.

Proposed a protocol to improve the performance of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM).Implemented the protocol in NS2 simulator. Evaluated the performance of the protocol through simulations using C++ and Tcl/Tk.
