Responsibilities:• Established and built up the Computing & Storage design group in Shanghai ( from 0 staff to 120+ R&D staff)• Led C&S shanghai design site’s engineering operations, managed all C&S shanghai site’s customer and R&D platform designs • Responsible for C&S Shanghai Site’s P&L, forecast development, cost-centers, budget planning & quarterly reviews, and resource’s surplus management• Developed and demployed the design business strategies, review, and led the entire C&S R&D group in Shanghai to achieve the services goals• Organizational structure, KPI setting, and staffing plan for C&S- shanghai site• Recruitment, retention, training, and coaching of all C&S shanghai design staff

• Established the CSU hardware and validation teams for Celestica Shanghai R&D center (from 0 staff to 15 staff)• Identified & purchased the design tools and testing equipment required to support the business in a timely manner • Coordinated and supervised the local team to work with the global team, to make sure the high-quality and on-schedule project delivery while maintaining the desired flexibility (one Xeon server and one ATCA switch module’s design)

• Developed the hardware design team for MiTAC Shanghai R&D Center, built up and extended the hardware design team from 4 staff to 20+ staff• Led and supervised the design engineers for handling the generic x86 Server products concurrent design and sustaining (for HP and Sun Microsystems separately)• Key player of the local sustaining and concurrent design supports - for HP and Sun Microsystem’s 1U/2U rack-mount servers , led and supported 5 sever products sustaining (customers were HP and Sun Microsystems)

• Led project Design Team for Specific Desktop Main board & System Design• Take the responsibility for specific project design implementation• Key person of the system/HW/SW design and volume production support of the designed desktop motherboard, worked with the team successfully delivered 7 Desktop PC motherboard projects
