The interest in web design and data analysis is the reason I settled on studying computing science at the University of Glasgow and data processing in high school. During high school, I have learnt basic knowledge of computing, accounting and economics; and also skills of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. As a year 4 computing science student, I can code in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, JavaScript and Matlab. Moreover, I have the knowledge of using Django website framework to arrange websites, using NumPy Python library to do data analysis and using design pattern to sketch abstract forms of programmes.Society events have given me abundant opportunities to improve my social abilities. As the treasurer of Glasgow University Korean Society (GUKoS), I was involved in asset management which requires the recording and tabulation of expense, income and membership data. With this experience, I believe I am able to communicate well and have enhanced analytical capabilities on future positions.I yearn to become a web designer or programmer after graduating and learn new techniques to extend my knowledge as technology continues to develop.In my free time, I am running a Facebook page to earn experience on managing websites since Facebook pages have become a major platform to share information.Link: https://www.facebook.com/travelonscreen/
