Teacher is one of the most indispensable parts in life. In my opinion, as majority of the students spend most of their time in schools, it is the responsibilities of teachers to provide guidance to students. Apart from important academic contents, professional teachers should also consider how to help the students so that they can fulfil their dream in the future. For example, what teachers should do is to know their students well and take good care of every student. Therefore, from what I understand, quality education means equip students with adequate academic knowledge they need while assisting them to set up a path to the future where they want to be so that they can be better people in the society. Achieving quality education, teachers need to think more about ethic. As far as I am concerned, teachers should build up a positive relationship with students, which means that there must be mutual respects between students and teachers. On the other hand, a professional teacher should treat their students fairly and impartially. Teaching is a process that will never stop, and we will never be perfect in teaching. Thus, as teachers, we are also learners who need to improve the teaching strategies and obtain more experiences. Teaching should be aligned to Australian Professional Standard for Teachers as well as Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians. Also, engaging with broader school community can benefit both teachers and students. For instance, organizing or joining different student clubs after class can help teachers to know better about their students while students can make more friends with the same interests. In my perspective, being passionate is my preferred way to teach, so engaging in more school community can allow me to keep the enthusiasm, which will lead to better teaching.
