Fit Technician/Technical Designer
Current- Create and manage production tech packs encompassing technical sketches, fit spec information, and comprehensive fit/PP fit comments, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the product development lifecycle.- Conduct meticulous measurements and evaluation of incoming samples, identifying construction fit and patterns corrections as necessary to uphold quality standards.- Orchestrate and participate in fitting sessions to review fits and pre-production submissions in collaboration with Product Development/Production team members, facilitating effective communication and resolution of potential issues.- Maintain regular communication channels with overseas vendors for assigned product categories, ensuring seamless flow of information and updates.- Track and manage the status of fit submissions to monitor progress and ensure timely resolution.- Establish and update block specs to maintain consistency and accuracy in product specifications.- Develop detailed technical specification packages in collaboration with Product Development and Production and cross-functional teams for overseas suppliers, ensuring accurate costing and production requirements.- Coordinate closely with vendors overseas to guarantee adherence to customer requirements, timelines, and quality standards, resolving any issues or challenges proactively to maintain smooth production processes.
