• Inspect farms to assess conformity with the GLOBALG.A.P. standard (either as a producer, a production site of a multisite company, or a producer member of a producer group).• Generate timely and accurate reports on such inspections in compliance with standard requirements, with final certification recommendation responsibility.• Archive files on all CB quality policies, processes, work instructions, and documentation.• Take notes throughout the assessment and solve/handle challenging problems, assessment results, and the relevance of these findings.• Verify and approve the Client’s (company/producer’s) suggested remedial measures for eliminating the nonconformities reported and monitor their timely execution and effectiveness.

• Assess the organic system plan and supporting documents provided to the inspectors.• Verify during the on-site inspection that the information, including the organic system plan, accurately reflects the practices used • Verify that prohibited substances have not been and are not being applied to the operation through means which, at the discretion of the certifying agent, may include the collection samples.• Assess buffer areas and potential sources of contamination • Evaluate the condition of crops, fertility management, and pest management • Determine producers’ understanding of standards and commitment to organic management.• Review operator records and conduct a sample audit to determine compliance with organic standards• Investigate complaints and violations to protect consumers and support the organic industry by ensuring the integrity of the organic label • Maintain confidentiality of information gathered on farm visits.
