I am a Chemist with a master's degree in Organic Chemistry, during this period I worked in the area of natural products and biomolecules, carrying out chemical analysis of vegetable oils, enzymatic catalysis and optimization of biodiesel production. I acquired vast experience in physical-chemical characterization and chromatographic techniques in general. I am currently a PhD researcher at UNICAMP, Brazil, with a project focused on the evolutionary study of enzymes. I use various biophysical techniques (mass spectrometry, isothermal titration calorimetry, molecular dynamics, etc.), but mainly Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). Performing NMR experiments involving protein-ligand interaction using protein-based methods (15N-TROSY-HSQC), ligand-based methods (STD, WaterLOGSY and CPMG-T2, 19F measurements) and protein relaxation; as well as pressure NMR experiments to explore cavities in enzymes. As well as working in a research laboratory, I have experience in the food industry, where I worked as a quality control chemist. I'm also enthusiastic about teaching chemistry, having worked as a chemistry coordinator in a science museum, promoting scientific dissemination. I am currently doing a research internship for my PhD at The Graduate Center - City University of New York, carrying out a fundamental part of my research using the NMR Technique.
