Making sense of big data to identify new trends and shifts in consumer behavior.While working with the top fashion brands, it became obvious that there was a huge opportunity to leverage data in ways that could forever change how businesses make decisions. As part of a Google 20% project, my colleague (Olivier Zimmer) and I partnered to create Google Trend Reports -- identifying new trends and behaviors via anonymized user search data. Based on its success and impact on our clients' businesses, this initiative has become a full time role.
