I am an experienced technical manager with 17 years of experience in technology consulting, non-profit, education, and technology ventures, working with cross-cultural, geographically distributed teams across the US, Africa, and Europe. Previously, I serve as a Senior Product Manager at ICEYE, where I am involved in the development of integrated software systems for satellite operations, managing product roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver critical capabilities. Prior to that, as a Senior Technical Program Manager at ICEYE, I spearheaded key initiatives in incident management, Business Metrics/SLA monitoring, Sales Engineering and customer delivery projects. My earlier tenure at Camara Education included establishing a software development center in Ethiopia, managing global quality assurance, and implementing operational policies across African hubs. As the Country Director for Camara’s Ethiopia hub, I secured funding, collaborated with local governments, and advanced ICT and education initiatives.My other experiences includes Accenture Consulting, where I advanced from Technical Analyst to Technical Project Manager, where I was part of multimillion-dollar projects for clients such as Cisco, Microsoft, Salesforce. At Dire-Dawa University in Ethiopia, I served as ICT Director, where I developed the university's ICT infrastructure and established its first ICT Directorate and operational functions. and I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management with a focus on Global Management of Innovation and Technology from Lappeenranta University of Technology, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Informatics and Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington.
