Funders for Justice is a national network and organizing platform of funders mobilizing resources to BIPOC grassroots organizations working at the intersections of racial justice, gender justice, ending criminalization, and building models for community safety & justice.

A social change fellowship for organizers, activists, and emerging leaders from across the U.S who are working on the most pressing issues of our time. Fellows learn from seasoned national leaders in movements for social change about everything from strategy and power to the history of social movements. Fellows gain theoretical grounding and practical experience to help deepen their understanding of their work and become more effective social change agents. - Worked as election day poll worker during local and national primary and general elections- Recruited 15 youth to serve as poll workers during covid-19 pandemic

As co-founder and Team Lead for the Center for Civic Justice, I helped set the mission, vision and strategic goals of the organization. During my tenure, the team grew from less than 10 to over 30 interns. The Center for Civic Justice has received nationals grants and awards for its goal to cultivate young and engaged change makers in society.

Selected as 1 of 10 women at Stony Brook University to participate in this two year internship and scholarship program. The professional development program aims to prepare college aged women for globally focused careers.

- Process office purchase orders and submit the necessary paperwork to the procurement office- Plan and execute department events- Serve as notetaker during departmental meetings- Manage Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Support calendars- Direct student inquiries to appropriate team member

- Guide prospective students and parents through admission process- Give weekly campus tours to prospective students and parents- Give detailed presentations and answer questions

- Execute voter registration initiatives and register over 8,000 students to vote in local and national elections- Organize civic engagement and civic education events- Present at local and national conferences on youth political engagement

- Assist Refugees and Asylees filing applications for permanent residency, citizenship, and family reunification amongst other duties.- Provide consultation services for refugees and asylees- Submit all necessary paperwork needed for comprehensive applications to USCIS- Respond to inquiries and requests from USCIS
