Mego Afek operates in the compression therapy field in the medical and in the aesthetics markets. The company is represented in more than 25 countries by 30 distributors, with an annual turnover of $15M. I was in cahrge of all BD, Marketing and Sales activities of the company. During my first year, sales were increased by 25%.

ETView markets a novel device for airway management. I was responsible for BD, marketing and sales, including designing, arranging, and executing initial clinical studies. Among the milestones I achieved: recruiting and signing a three-year, $1.5M exclusive distribution contract in the U.S. with LSMS, Inc., and negotiating an exclusive distribution contract with Chinese giant Sinopharm. I also recruited and managed European distributors. Early in my tenure at ETView, I secured its first orders of $250K and arranged $750K in additional seed money. Later, I negotiated joint ventures with top-tier companies like GE, Fuji, and Cook. Other responsibilities included planning and executing strategic market penetration plans for U.S., Germany and France, including locating and recruiting local professional advisors.

Responsible for U.S. sales of a diagnostic device for sleep disorders. Managed a nine-person sales team as well as a distributor’s 25 person team. Created and led multidisciplinary teams (clinical, technical, R&D, and business development. Coordinated with various external agencies including regulatory groups.

Secured more than $2M in annual sales for a division of J&J that marketed innovative medical technologies, including a new, minimally invasive technologies for cardiovascular surgery. Provided in-service education to surgeons across several fields, including GS, OBGYN, PV, orthopedics, urology, plastics and neurosurgery, both locally and abroad.
