I was recruited to the VP Operations role at Haldor USA to introduce an innovative FDA-approved system to the US market, leading operations, product placement, and supply chain on behalf of a medical device company. In this role, I head the planning and execution of all professional services, logistics, warehouse, and EDI. I serve as a liaison to US and Canada-based clients, collect feedback from the field to inform product design and enhancements, lead presentations for major prospects (including hospital executives), establish product demonstrations, lead tradeshow representation, and create partnerships with distributors like Medline, Cardinal, and Owens & Minor.➥ I have increased revenue in the US to over $1MM throughout my tenure; I’m on track to continue growth in US market.➥ I designed and executed a regional product introduction strategy and won buy-in for the first east coast trial; I also implemented the first system in Canada. ➥ I am responsible for new site implementation, training doctors and medical providers on how to use the product (product is the ORLocate RFID-enabled Sponge and Surgical Instruments tracking system.) ➥ I led the company’s federal bid and managed commercial hurdles with hospital officials, trade partners, and GPOs.

In this role, I steered supply chain success, leading a team of 8 Supply Chain and IT professionals, responsible for distribution channels for eCommerce, Brick & Mortar Retail, and Big Box Retail (company annual revenue: $40MM). I led forecasting, distribution, warehousing and transportation, contract and negotiations, and IT and logistics departments. ➥ I led supply chain requirements, created a unique EDI, and prepared an additional third-party logistics provider to handle the increased volume of a Bed, Bath and Beyond contract (1200 stores with $15MM product). ➥ I decreased logistics costs by 10% by enhancing logistics capabilities, adding a distribution warehouse, and expanding the national courier home distribution supply chain in multiple regions. ➥ I collaborated with IT to lead EDI implementation, enabling future growth with big box stores. ➥ I led successful product rollout to 1000+units of leading big-box chain store, resulting in 50%+ company growth. ➥ I built and fostered a relationship with the logistics team to develop a unique supply chain solution, ensuring all chain store detailed requirements were met.

In this role, I managed purchasing and supply chain activities for a medical diagnostics startup, including R&D BOM development and support, supply chain planning, and international contracting. I developed and implemented procurement policies and controls and the commodity strategy. I served as the key lead for the new facility set-up, including leading procurement and servicing contracting and sourcing. ➥ I led the technical escalation crisis response saving 3+ months of R&D time and new technical solutions.

I was responsible for cross-organizational management of cost activities and program on the Global Material team ➥ I led the support and sourcing strategy for a new factory in China.➥ I led the cross materials team to improve cost-savings calculation and operations impact, saving the team $26MM.

I led a purchasing group responsible for $100MM annual spend on product equipment and services for a factory in Israel. I hired, trained, managed, developed, and led 13 employees, including 8 direct reports. I was responsible for implementing the departmental strategy and goals, negotiations, contract management, supplier management, periodic reviews, escalations, and development. I liaised with a Japanese supplier envoy to Israel, strengthening the relationship. ➥ I achieved $6.5MM in savings. ➥ I increased the procurement department’s customer service on-time resolution by 14%.

In this role, I led purchasing for the factory ramp in coordination with local and corporate groups. I led a team of 2 project managers to complete cross-factory projects and infrastructure to achieve cost reduction. I improved materials communication and the impact on operations and led the materials ramp program to meet on-time factory support. ➥ I achieved $2.3MM in savings as the leader of the engineering cost savings team
