About Yaroslav Kobzar

I am interested in applied research and development/improvement of existing polymer systems for innovative sustainable materials.My experience includes developing and supporting applied research on the synthesis of innovative and sustainable organic and inorganic polymer systems with controlled morphology and transport properties (gas, water, ions, photons and electrons) for a variety of applications including stimulus-responsive, electrolyte and gas/water barrier materials for optics, energy, gas separation and packaging.As an R&D engineer in polymer chemistry/barrier properties, I create new and refine existing, products, and technologies and ensure scientific research support with industrial partnerships to meet consumer needs in various sectors.
