When I was 13, I used to lie in bed in Iran, doubting myself because I was constantly told, "You'll never succeed in tech; it's for men," "Why put so much pressure on yourself?" and "You'll just end up being a housewife." But my mom always said, "If you don't try, you'll never fail or win. So you might as well try. And if you fail, let it be." That lesson stayed with me, and now, at 20, I'm exactly where I wanted to be.Currently, I'm a Computer Science student at City, University of London. This spring, I joined Incepteo, a dynamic tech partner focused on AI-driven growth and innovation. Last summer, I started my own website design company, "Techyas," and co-founded the Computer Science Society at CUOL. I'm also a founding member of Women++ in Computing at City, promoting diversity and inclusivity in tech.I never want another girl in the world to feel as I did at 13. I want to show the world that tech is for everyone and that anyone can succeed and achieve their dreams with determination and hard work. Now that I am on my way to achieving my dreams, my goal is to leverage technology to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and help other girls in similar positions, making tech a more diverse and inclusive field.In my free time, I enjoy nature walks, a good cup of tea, and reading to expand my knowledge and perspective.
