My journey began in Turkey, where I completed my degree in Architecture at Middle East Technical University (METU). This solid foundation fueled my passion for design and construction, and I quickly found myself on an international path that would shape my career.I took my first leap by moving to Qatar, where I joined HAZ Marble Industry & Trade L.L.C as a Site Engineer (Project Coordinator) and then as Assistant Project Manager. In Doha, I managed a large-scale project the Corniche Park Towers, where I led diverse teams, implemented cost-control measures to achieve significant savings, and collaborated with stakeholders across different cultures. This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of global project management and reinforced my commitment to excellence and adaptability in high-pressure environments.After a rewarding period in Qatar, I returned to Turkey and contributed to the Neva Yalı Project as part of the site design team at Rönesans Holding. In this role, I focused on preparing detailed shop drawings, coordinating material selections with suppliers, and assisting in ensuring that all designs met local building codes and standards. This position allowed me to build my skills in architectural documentation and team collaboration while gaining valuable exposure to different stages of the construction process. It sharpened my eye for detail and furthered my ability to work effectively across the construction lifecycle.Now, I have embarked on a new adventure in Canada, where I am enrolled in the Construction Management Graduate Certificate program at Conestoga College. With a focus on expanding my knowledge and embracing new challenges, I am eager to apply my multinational experience to a co-op opportunity in Canada. I am driven to integrate my diverse background with the innovative construction practices and technologies I am learning in Canada, bringing a unique, global perspective to any team I join.
