Tasks and duties performed during Master thesis research in the Corporate Logistics Department:1. Thesis Accomplishment: • Successfully explored and defended the Master thesis research with the title - “Bringing transparency into the customer order fulfillment through the development of standard ‘Last Mile Transport’ model for multi-channel environment at Metro Cash & Carry”2. Corporate Logistics Strategy:• Assisted in analysing the country data based on the current logistics network configuration and understanding the patterns for future network modification based on the new multi-channel approach.

Tasks and duties performed at Project Management Office in the Corporate Supply Chain Planning Department:1. Communication: • Communication Material: Planning, designing and implementation of communication events and preparation of communication material about the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) processes and re-engineering exercise “Connectivity”, including the SCP Leadership Team Meetings, Breakfast Meetings, Connectivity Club events.2. Project Management Office Activities:• IT Tools: Intranet page and Collaboration Room support for Project Management Activities for SCP team.• Team Survey: The launch of the team pulse survey for SCP team at Metro Cash & Carry and general logistics and administrative support during the campus week events. • Budget Controlling: Monitoring of the consulting expenses and dispersing the relevant information to the concerned people on monthly basis.3. Administrative Facilitation: • Weekly Status Update: Preparation of the administrative tasks in order to inform and coordinate the teams working in various countries. Collection and distribution of weekly status update and preparation of the department’s white board for weekly meetings. • Connectivity Club: Administration and pre and post event communication with the members of the club. 4. Special Accomplishments: • Supply Chain Simulation: Independent planning, preparaing and facilitation of the supply chain simulation “The Beer Game” for over 20 participants across different fucntional divisions to signify the importance of Supply Chain processes at each stage of the value chain. • Intranet Page: Independently designing, preparing and updating the intranet page of the SCP department.
