I am an active member of the operation readiness, user adoption, communication, and migration teams. Lead the effort in provisioning and configuring Azure services and AVD. ExpressRoute and AD Connect were configured prior to the team coming onboard, but we took ownership and configured the network, security, storage, and policies. Formed a Power Platform engineering team that established a governance and intake process that leverages the Center of Excellence to monitor licenses and metrics across Power Apps environments. Team is also working on consultation strategies to optimize license repurposing. Lead the SharePoint migration effort of 70 site collections with over 3000 subsites to SPO and Power Apps. The migration process included remediation and rebuilding of legacy functionality like workflows, Infopath forms, email enabled lists, and scripting issues. Develop processes and project controls that drive productivity and efficiency. Cloud development activities include networking, infrastructure, high availability and resilience, security, storage, logging, cost management, and migration. Architect, resource, and implement the migration of Dynamics CRM and SharePoint to the AWS cloud, and later to Azure. Used SQL Server’s Log Shipping capability to mirror 100’s of databases, which minimized the actual cut-over to a single weekend. Architect, resource, and implement all upgrade initiatives including SharePoint 2013/2016, Dynamics CRM 2015/365, TFS 2012/2015 to Azure DevOps, SQL Server 2012/2016. Upgrades were NOT done in-place and consisted of migration and a formal cutover process. Architect, resource, and implement the buildout of a DevOps framework with the goal of achieving continuous integration and continuous delivery.
