I started my career as a Research Scientist in the applied ML Research team (image and video understanding group) at Stradigi AI. I worked on lots of different client projects/problems and developed different algorithms and pipelines using machine learning and deep learning for them.I was promoted to Senior Applied ML Researcher and Tech Lead of the Applied ML Research team. As the Tech Lead of the research team, I worked with other applied ML researchers to improve and advance ML models, pipelines and frameworks used in the company’s automated ML platform. I have a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with emphasis on Machine learning and image/video processing. I started my journey in machine learning since I started working on my final B.Sc. project with title “Edge detection in images using neural networks”. During my PhD, I broadly expanded my knowledge in machine learning and deep neural networks and was involved in several deep learning projects including design and implementations of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the applications of object/face detection and semantic segmentation.
