• Working in an individual contributor role providing equity research support to UK based client in European transport sector.• Tracking the assigned sector on a regular basis to cover news/events/updates/themes. • Building dynamic financial model from scratch and updating them for the stocks under coverage on a periodical basis.• Understanding sector drivers and forecasting company's financial statements. Prepare pro-forma models in advance of a planned transaction, such as Merger & Acquisition, Debt/Equity raising and Debt Restructuring / Refinancing transactions.• Provide analyst views supplemented with in-depth earnings forecasts and valuation estimates. • Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, Relative valuation, SOTP etc.• Writing well structured and crisp initiating coverage reports, Quarterly Earnings reports and sector/thematic reports.• Writing news flashes (industry & company) explaining the quantitative and qualitative impact of industry developments (e.g. new acquisition, management change, guidance change etc). Building and updating sector databases in Excel. • Source relevant data/information using secondary databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Reuter and Factiva etc.• Working on ad-hoc projects such as: - Equity Newsletter: Covering major news and performance of all major stock markets in Middle East countries and other parts of world like NASDAQ, S&P, LSE etc. - Assisting pilot team in building financial models and investments write ups in multiple industries for prospective clients.• Interact regularly and effectively with onshore analyst through calls and e-mails.• Performing quality checks on the deliverables, training the new team members and developing the knowledge repository.• Make regular presentations to the team on relevant topics/areas of expertise.• Excellent MS-Excel skills and adept at using MS-Word and MS-Power Point.

• Providing equity research support to US based client in Retail sector• Developing and working extensively on financial models and earning write ups for companies in assigned portfolio• Updating financial models for earning results and making changes to projections accordingly• Ongoing monitoring & surveillance of assigned industry/portfolio, including mergers & acquisition, financial/industry development, news events etc.• Perform detailed fundamental analysis of financial statements, projections and key valuation ratios relevant for gauging the company’s performance and trends using benchmarking• Perform DCF & Relative valuation, liquidity analysis and detailed capital structure analysis• Prepare pro-forma models in advance of a planned transaction, such as M&A, a new capital investment or refinancing• Preparing financial commentary/Earnings review of the company’s performance and their outlook using company filings such as press release, 10Q/10Ks, earning transcript etc.• Managing client’s expectations in US through emails and client calls• Mentoring, supervising & training new analysts• Managing the team’s workflow and its requirements ensuring an effective and timely delivery of the product
