JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:A highly flexible and resourceful Mechanical Engineer with around 2 years of experience in the domain of Production Planning and Control, Material Management and Commissioning.Having hands on experience in SAP MM and SAP PP module for the production planning and management of project.Participated in project meetings with internal teams and external vendors.Performing all the Production planning and Procurement activities with proper documentation.Performing MRP Run and creating PR and PO's based on the stock availability and requirements.Checking compliance of the material to be procured based on technical specifications, cost and quality on the basis of project needs.Creating and checking RFQ's as per needs.Creating and publishing bids for the required material for standard and non-standard parts.Actively responding on vendor queries during bidding stage.Minimizing rejections by rectifying vendor's queries for material by checking drawings, MPN's and other documents at the earliest.Organizing PNC's and negotiating with vendor regarding the submitted quotation based on the project needs and deadlines.Creating FLM files for internal approvals from the management based on the SDOP and norms of the company with the decided criterias based on PO value.Keeping track of the material ordered to have availability of material as per production schedule.Maintaining the stock availability based on the requirements and consumptions and further needs.Recommended process changes based on observations made during testing procedures.Maintaining proper records of the production documents for the easy and on time production.Offering the product after production to the customer by having proper testing as per the Acceptance Test Procedure with the specified conditions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Worked as Planning and Purchase Engineer in Supply Chain Department.Assigned product- Excavator and Wheel Loaders.Planning the production of the different models of the machines based on the customer needs and creating final lists of requirements.Creating PO's as well as vendor follow-up of the materials.Assisted team members with new product implementation and manufacturing process changes for procuring new materials.Checking the material stocks based on the new Electronic Change Notification before implementation of the new design with valid specific conditions.Had given approval for the production of the machines based on the changes and material availability.Hands on in the PLM software Windchill, by maintaining all the CAD and ECN records for the production.
