I am a biologist with over 5 years of experience specializing in microbiology and genetics related to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). My passion lies in understanding the microbiome, with a particular focus on the role of viruses in IBD. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed research groups, spanning from Milan, Italy to Sydney, Australia. These experiences have enriched my knowledge and expertise in areas such as Cloning, FACS analysis, Animal models, and also business strategy and marketing in retail company.Currently, I am broadening my skill set to include bioinformatics, with a specific emphasis on data analysis using Linux and R programming for the Australian IBD microbiome (AIM) study. My ultimate goal is to delve into the realm of Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) as a potential treatment not only for IBD but also for a wide range of human diseases.
