Game Designer
CurrentI had the exciting opportunity to design and develop gameplay mechanics and levels for casual games across a wide range of genres and platforms, including Amazon and Android. This role was incredibly fulfilling, as it allowed me to tap into my creativity while also applying technical skills to create engaging gaming experiences. One of the most dynamic aspects of my work was managing and coordinating teams of animators, artists, and programmers during live events. It was essential for us to collaborate seamlessly, ensuring that every element came together perfectly and that game assets were delivered on time. The energy during these events was palpable, and it was gratifying to see our hard work pay off in real-time.To streamline our development processes, we focused on integrating various tools, such as combining Blender for 3D asset creation with structured data formats to ensure efficient workflows and compatibility across platforms. This approach enhanced our ability to create visually stunning and accessible games for a broader audience. We also implemented live ops integration strategies that significantly boosted player engagement. By providing real-time updates and events, we were able to enhance the game's longevity and keep players coming back for more.Additionally, I contributed to the combat design, focusing on balancing and refining mechanics to ensure a challenging yet enjoyable player experience. This involved a lot of testing and iteration, but it was rewarding to see how our adjustments positively impacted gameplay. Quality assurance was another critical area I oversaw, ensuring that all our game titles met rigorous quality standards.
