I am a Web3 entrepreneur focused on scaling the Bitcoin.My journey began as a computer science graduate working as a software engineer. I joined ZipDial, a young startup during India's tech boom in 2012, as an early employee. I had my first real startup experience, rapid growth, and ultimately getting acquired by Twitter (India's first acquisition). It ignited my entrepreneurial journey, and I started a product design and dev studio, DesignString. Working closely with founders, early-stage startups, growth companies, unicorns, and a few enterprises has helped me shape my experience and perspective of building businesses. Scaled DesignString to 50+ employees and worked with multiple teams like a few select names, Cleartrip.com, Ola, Intuit, Rapido, PineLabs, Bookmyshow, etc.I had my first product launch experience in 2020 by launching a SaaS product, OKR software, which enabled teams to work effectively by leveraging the framework OKRs. After realizing limitations, I pivoted to Web3 and joined Frontier Wallet as Chief Product Officer. At Frontier Wallet, I gained exposure to various ecosystems, which led to a keen interest in the concept of “scaling.” Around this time, the Segwit and Taproot upgrades in Bitcoin presented new opportunities for innovation. Recognizing the potential, I began building Surge.Surge is focused on addressing Bitcoin's key challenge: scalability. By helping teams develop rollups and layer 2 solutions, we aim to make Bitcoin more accessible and versatile for a broader range of applications. Our mission is to drive innovation and growth within the Bitcoin ecosystem, positioning it as the foundation for the next wave of blockchain applications.
