It Technician
Current• Diligently provide regional IT support to 1,600 employees based in 6 UK sites and at home working locations nationally.• Liaise and support employees at all levels of seniority.• Deliver excellent assistance to IT and Business projects.• Deliver technical training and company inductions.• Administration of Windows XP, Embedded, 7 & 10.• Efficiently resolve technical issues with OS, hardware, applications, and network.• Execute imaging and laptop configurations using Ivanti (SCCM)• Deploy end user hardware, including iPhone and iPad solutions.• Manage digital site security including door access security, Visitor Management System and CCTV.• Provide support for specialist applications within manufacturing operations.• Travel nationally to deliver additional support when required to other office locations.• Facilitate the installation, removal, and upgrade of application packages.• Liaise with software, network, and infrastructure leads to resolve issues.• Carry out physical network patching.• Configuration and deployment of telephony hardware.• Direct and assign helpdesk calls on an active service desk.• Ensure compliance with KPI’s and service metrics.• Complete IT purchases in SAP• Administration of Unify HiPath 3800 OpenScape Business PBX• Support Mobile hardware (Mobile Iron).• Assist in HR IT / CCTV Investigations.• Management of Centralized Print Solution – Equitrac• Managing User and PC accounts in Active Directory.• Improving IT processes and procedures by streamlining and innovation to increase efficiency.
