I have over 4 years of experience working in software development and engineering. Currently I work at Nike as Software Engineer. I am a part of supply chain team, simplifying distribution centre operations and helping reduce cost. My team improves efficiency of operations by automating the inbound and outbound delivery process. I enjoy learning new things and applying my knowledge to new use cases and industries.Through my knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles, I have helped the team to reduce the maintenance cost by 50% and improved extensibility of our applications. My team has reduced AWS cost by $5k by using practices such as long polling and scheduled downtime for services. I am currently learning high level system design which would help me design large scale systems.Previously, I worked at Lumen as a Software Developer.
