My team worked on onboarding and improving user experience on the new stack(referenced below), while also alleviating auxiliary (both middle and back office) process interactions, improving data contracts, enhancing throughput, and making the system more robust overall. Brainstormed various design strategies to improve system interactions and user workflows that handle trades with a notional value greater than 1.5billion USD daily, also working on their proof of concept implementations to ensure the designs come to fruition. Helped onboard four junior analysts into the team by leading regular knowledge sharing sessions on various business workflows and technological nuances along with supervising their projects.

My team, Equities One Delta engineering, focuses on providing software solutions for the equity electronic trading desk in Asia. The platform supports trades worth more than a billion dollars daily.We are using Java and C++ to bring in a new global solution for the trading desk, that has 5x more capacity as compared to the existing horizontally scaled infrastructure. Along with it, the platform aims to make performing intricate workflows easy through meaningful design choices and automation. The users are also aided by more statistical and near real-time analysis of the trades made.

I was a teaching assistant in two courses offered by the Computer Science Department. 1. Software Development for Portable Devices: The course focussed on introducing the students to programming on portable devices like mobile application development, raspberry pi etc. The course had an end-sem project that involved using AR/VR technologies like Occulus Rift to develop applications to solve real-world problems. My role as a TA was to : * Help create and curate course content, along with creating sample apps /assignments that the students could use as basic introduction to the device. * Advise and work with the students on project ideation, implementation and eventually get a prototype or the complete solution ready. Did a similar role in the Computer Architecture course that was taken by more than 100 students.

The job includes calling, corporate communication, making Sponsorship Proposals, and marketing.DoSM seeks not just for cash sponsorship but also in-kind sponsorship. Besides this DoSM also handles various media associations for promotion of the three festivals and the sponsors. One of the primary jobs of DoSM is to design marketing strategies for the sponsors, ensuring that they get full value for the money invested in the festivals.It helps in building up communication skills, confidence, creativity. It also makes one a very good team player, working in a team of 70 and pulling off three very big college festivals which are - Waves, Quark and Spree
