I've had the rare privilege of leading supply chain conversations in three diverse roles: industry practitioner, management consultant, and startup operator.I started my career on the manufacturing shopfloor of an ITC Limited plant in Chennai where I was part of a scrappy team that setup India's first cell phone packaging supply chain and worked alongside Foxconn and Flextronics to enable Nokia to churn out millions of "brick" cell phones month after month for the booming India market. These years taught me the importance of impeccable execution in the face of constant chaos and randomness.Management consulting took me around the world. I delivered projects in 4 continents (North America, Asia, Australia, Europe), across 14 countries. I worked on problems as diverse as sourcing PPE for desperate hospitals at the peak of the pandemic, to bringing power back in the US North East in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, to managing a merger to create the world's third largest beauty company, to building a growth imperative for a 100 year old public sector healthcare conglomerate. These years taught me the importance of taking a step back and building the right framework to attack a hard problem.With startups I chose to focus on sales and business development. I enjoy the process of finding the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and PMF (Product Market Fit). I love the process of building a powerful sales engine through a motivated and positive sales team. With Zoglix, I'm part of a passionate team that is eager to support Indian manufacturers and enable their ambitions to serve the US customer.
