As a consultant, she has worked withQuest Alliance, SELCO Foundation, Saahas Zero Waste (Partnered with Plan India and Coca-Cola), Purpose, Kaboom (Partnered with Breakthrough), Turian Labs, LVPEI, Ahhaa among others.At Quest Alliance, she worked on the language lens and designed a content and translation framework across 8 states of the country.With Saahas Zero Waste (Partnered with Plan India and Coca-Cola), Yashna designed a waste management awareness campaign/module for Primary, Middle and Secondary Education for sub-urban/rural schools India. The project involved a detailed study of a set of 20 Pilot schools in different parts of India. As an academic associate, Yashna was an active member of the team for creating an innovative and contextual academic structure for the university. A curriculum that is driven by design thinking. This was not just for design but spreads out to all the fields where creation, innovation and problem solving is a must. Being once a student of engineering and design both, Yashna had a deep understanding of the context she was working in. And with a lot of trials, validation and feedback the team created a curriculum that offers specialization that is not institute driven but industry, need and choice dependent. It breaks the boundaries of the stereotypical education system in design and engineering.They created a model that inculcates personalized learning to make students discover themselves by becoming innovators and problem solvers and more importantly to become sound decision makers.
