The Yashoda Devi Wine Academy will begin delivering WSET courses for Foundation and Intermediate levels from mid-May 2010.We will also conduct Wine and Spirit tastings for 12-15 people with education on the concerned topics every Friday,Saturday and Sundays.Wine events and Winemaker dinners will be a regular feature and those interested in getting associated may register their names by sending an e-mail to deviyashoda@yahoo.co.in

I accept offers for consultancy to set up wineries and to update the wineries with latest winemaking technologies.I also help in setting up vineyards from selection of soil,varietal and clones and planting the rootstocks.I work with a group of international winemakers and viticulturists and can source the best talent in the industry worldwide.I am trained in winemaking having worked at Chateau Malartic Lagraviere(Pessac) and Malatinszky Winery(Hungary) and take up winemaking consultancy as well.

My name and past acknowledgements as India's first woman winemaker after being a qualified doctor prompted Kinvah to appoint me as their Brand Ambassador.The importance of wine consumerism expanding due to health reasons is one aspect that makes me stand out from the remaining wine professionals of India, as I am in a position as a doctor to enter the psyche of the common man and tell him that wine is good.And they believe me! My credential as an International judge further reimposes faith in my ability.Wine knowledge is always a plus

I worked in Grover Vineyard for about two years before I left for France to do the harvest at Chateau Malartic Lagraviere,Pessac Leognan,Bordeaux.The experience was an eye-opener.It taught me that we were doing everything we were not supposed to! I resigned upon my return to India.I then became an approved tutor for Wine And Spirit Education Trust,London in India and conduct wine courses as National Trainer.
