GoBlue - Skills Development (TVET), Matching and Value Chain Development Project (A project of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and European Union. Project aimed at creating livelihood opportunities for unemployed youth through entrepreneurship and TVET skill training, job matching and market linkages through a public-private partnership approach to exploit opportunities in blue economy sectors. Main activities and responsibilities include.- 2674 Youth linked to livelihood opportunities in blue economy with 54% of being female.- 640 Youths were supported to start their own business.- Trained 30 trainers on ILO/SIYB modules and certified as trainers- Established partnership with 6 coastal county government departments- Connected 300 employers for TVET placement- Collaborated with 28 financial institutions in the region- Managed a team of 48 staff under the project- Built capacity of 160 TVET institutions to adopt dual training approach as per CBET Model- Developed 6 TVET course curriculums in partnership with Govt. Authorities in Kenya

Youth Employment and Empowerment Project funded by the European Union & Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) The project aimed at connecting youth with employment opportunities through Entrepreneurship and TVET skill training and job matching, capacity building of TVET institutions to reduce the risk of radicalization and their engagement in criminal activities.- 4,056 youth trained on entrepreneurship and TVET skills, linked with livelihood opportunities in six coastal counties of Kenya.- 840 youth were supported to start their own business.- Developed 5 curriculums in partnership with private sector and govt. authorities.- Build capacity of 98 TVET institutions in Kenya to adopt demand based TVET training approach- Equipped 9 TVET institutions with tools and learning aids- Connected 260 employers and private sector institutions to strengthen the linkages- Developed capacity of 180 TVET staff on entrepreneurship and TVET skills

National Skill Development Corporation funded by Govt. of India (Worlds largest Entrepreneurship and TVET skill development program) aimed at skilling and linking youth with the business and job opportunities.- Established 38 Entrepreneurship and TVET skills training centers- Developed 14 curriculums for entrepreneurship and skills training- Organized 12 sector specific committees to support linkages - Established partnership with 18 organizations to deliver the project- Mobilized 600 employers to job linkages- Managed a team of 68 staff
