Developing chassis and vehicle dynamics optimization solutions to maximize performance of Purdue ASME Racing’s karts for the 2024 Purdue Grand Prix

Developed neural networks & deep learning algorithms with Google Gemma to produce Python script to predict fluid mechanics & heat transfer. Utilized findings to predict pressure differentials through a human esophagus.

Designed unique battery mechanical architecture (casing & wiring harnesses) for improved cooling & battery longevity for 2024 evGrand Prix (collegiate electric go-kart race at Purdue University). Produced award-winning documentation on newly integrated 21700 Li-Ion batteries (Autodesk Inventor). Created test-plans for short on-track sessions to run tests on the highest-performing & most efficient mechanical & battery setups.

Guided underclassmen teams through VEX Robotics design/competition cycles. Crafted lesson plans for bi-weekly lectures discussing project management skills, design & building conventions, VEX-specific embedded C, and controller & building ergonomics.

Led award-winning design philosophy of my team’s robotic solution for both the 2020-21 Game “Change-Up” & the 2021-22 Game “Tipping Point.” Managed team of 5-6 team members to develop and maintain robots for each challenge. 2020-21: Modeled design on Fusion 360 & based design instructions based on .f3d file to maximize in-person productivity during pandemic. Trained new software lead in embedded C. 2021-22: Modeled design concepts sketched out with paper and pencil onto Fusion 360 outside of in-person time spent building to maximize design cycle productivity outright. Helped software lead come up with solutions to mechanical limitations (ex. we didn’t have access to hydraulic systems, so wrote code that repetitively spiked power of motor to increase apparent static strength of lifting mechanism). - Won Design Award at Regional Level - Won Judges’ Award at State Level (Florida) - Based on ingenuity & in-competition success of complete robotic solution
