As an intern in Overhaul department at Air India, my role was to work with the maintenance team at the Engine Dressing and Module divisions in analyzing the PW-4056 engines commonly used in the Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A310 aircraft.As an intern, I acquired an in-depth understanding of the engine compressor, combustion chamber and turbine by working on its dis-assembly, inspection and reassembly.
