I'm a first-generation student, currently a Business Computer Information Systems major. My professional interests include business, technology, and entrepreneurship. I lived in Sudan for a decent portion of my life, which allowed me to see the difference in lifestyles that truly opened my eyes. The experiences I had in Sudan have not only made me a better person, but it led me to give back and help the community in many ways.I participate in many food drives in downtown Dallas, where me and my colleagues donate food to the homeless in downtown. With the help of 40 friends, I also have helped build two wells in third-world countries by partnering with the MATW Project and the Mu’mins of Texas, and are currently starting our third well. Once I graduate I plan on utilizing my degree by helping the community around me and slowly but surely making this world a better place with not only my education but the social skills I have acquired along the way.In the Future I would like to one day have my own business and use my power to help others who need it and grow my community. The Volunteer work I have done around the metroplex has taken an enormous toll on my social skills and given me so much inspiration on what the future has to hold for not only me but also the strong-minded students of our generation.
