I am a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ multi-faceted experience of financial and managerial accounting issues coupled with good understanding of business processes, systems design and controls.My professional journey is full of experiences of managing cross functional teams comprising professionals of various disciplines. Statutory audits and book keeping remained my bread and butter for the better part of my life. However, I have also been acquainted with internal audits, due diligence and internal controls review.Further, I am well versed with the business need analysis. This includes a rich hands-on experience of business requirements analysis for various ERP implementations. I also had the opportunity to lead designing of a bespoke mini ERP solution for a renowned oil transportation company of 2,000+ fleet. All praises to Allah, the ERP is now being run successfully!Being an empathetic listener I always find it easier to feel the pain areas of clients and I try hard to bring out easy yet pragmatic solutions for redressing them. Outside of work one can find me spending time on calligraphy, cooking, painting, creative thinking, reading, and writing.
