👋 Hi, I'm Yasiris /ya·see·ris/, also known as Yosiris /yo·see·ris/, a multidisciplinary designer and accessibility advocate from the Dominican Republic. With a newly earned master's degree in Interaction Design and a specialization in High-Tech Entrepreneurship from Harbour.Space University, I’m passionate about using design to create inclusive experiences that empower everyone, especially those with disabilities.🦻 As a Deaf/Hard of Hearing designer, I bring a unique perspective to the table, focusing on breaking down barriers through thoughtful design and technology. My mission is to make the digital and physical worlds more accessible and user-friendly for all.🏆 Over the years, I've been honored with accolades like an honorable mention at Startup Weekend Santo Domingo 2022 for my Labor Inclusion project and winning 1st place in the INTEC Emprende Business Idea Pre-Incubation Program 2023 for Inclusive Education for Deaf Individuals. These experiences have fueled my commitment to social impact through design and technology.💡 My multidisciplinary expertise spans UX Research, UI Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Visual Branding, and Project Management.
