Mechanical Static Equipment & Piping Engineer Responsibilities:1. In-charge engineer responsible for daily maintenance and shutdown works for middle-end process static equipment and piping of ammonia plant including carbon dioxide (CO2) removal, amine purification, and utilities.2. In-charge engineer responsible for daily maintenance and shutdown works for LDPE plant looking after utilities including steam, hydraulic oil, heating oil, chilled water, cooling water, reactor hot water, and fire water systems.3. Review equipment drawings and design calculations of E3-1301 Reboiler from vendors for fabrication.4. Mechanical focal for E3-1301 Reboiler cleaning, inspection, and tube plugging.5. Plan and execute total small bore pipe rejuvenation project at E581 Absorption Chiller Package.6. Lead revision and implementation of BFJA procedure for daily maintenance suited to plant practice. 7. Participate in root cause failure analyses (RCFAs) as team member and resource person.8. Design, assess, propose, and implement plant change projects in compliance to Management of Change (MOC) requirements. 9. Review maintenance plans based on findings and reliability data.10. Lead and participate in troubleshooting of plant equipment.

Department focal for Petronas Maintenance Management System (PMMS) and Workshop, Warehouse, and Spare Management.PMMS:- Bird's eye observation and monitoring of the key performance indicators (KPI) of Maintenance Department for two separate petrochemical plants inclusive of incident occurrence reporting, high priority work order creations, planning efficiency, department productivity deliverables, compliance to maintenance plan and strategies, job closures, and cost compliance.- Identifies flaws in ways of working across different working level sections in the department- Performs interventions and provides recommendations to improve ways of working- Reports work process compliance and performance to Petronas Chemicals Group (PCG) corporate office- Supervises administration of changes and deviation requests in SAPWorkshop, Warehouse and Spare Management Focal:- Developing work process and procedures for workshop, warehouse, and spare management- Manages workshop, warehouse, and spares in support of department operations- Monitors the inventory of materials and usage of tools in warehouse- Executes maintenance plans for tools ranging from basic tools (torque wrenches) to tools requiring ISO compliance.- Refurbished and commissioned a new extension of company's warehouse in compliance to safety regulations and usage demand between three departments- Develops equipment reliability strategies for workshop fabrication equipment and high pressure testing equipment (3200 barg)

Lead and manage E3-1201 Reformed Gas Boiler refractory repair works and furnace convection module expansion bellow major replacement during major shutdown of 33 days.4. Review equipment drawings and design calculations of E101 Booster Compressor 1st Stage Discharge Cooler from vendors for fabrication.5. Mechanical focal for E250 Recycle Gas Cooler cleaning, inspection, and tube plugging.6. Participate in root cause failure analyses (RCFAs) as team member and resource person.7. Design, assess, propose, and implement plant change projects in compliance to Management of Change (MOC) requirements.8. Review maintenance plans based on findings and reliability data.9. Assigned as an intern to the Engineering Prototype Centre (Fabrication) within the Lab Services Department. During the internship period: 1) I led a research equipment fabrication project in which I communicated and cooperated with engineers, researchers, and executives across multiple disciplines to design and fabricate a crude oil foam test equipment used to appraise the properties and quality of oil within low-pressure oil wells. 2) I carried out research and evaluation process of available fabrication and manufacturing equipment within the market ranging from metal shaping machines to metal 3D printers required for department expansion. The assignment entailed local and international communication with third parties.3) I facilitated in administrative work to ensure an efficient operation of the department where I was involved in attending meetings and liaising with clients and other departments within the research complex.4) I attended biweekly lectures conducted in the institute aimed to empower and add value to the staff in terms of well-being and work-life balance.
