Yasmin has practiced yoga, mindfulness and meditation for over 20 years and has developed extensive knowledge and experience in yoga & wellbeing. She has learnt from some of the world's most inspiring teacher's & gurus. Most recently studying over a four-year period in India considered the birthplace of yoga.These experiences included journeying througout India to immerse herself in the Dalai Lamaâs teachings, living in hidden secluded ashrams (spiritual houses) where very few westerners are permitted and travelling to the foothills of the Himalayas, where she challenged herself physically and mentally, and fully immersed herself in the contemplation of what it means to be at1. From this place of contemplation she was able to develop and bring to life the concept of at1.SPACE, thus taking her yoga practice off the mat and into her community and hometown of Nottingham.To be at1, means to be in harmony with ourselves and our surroundings.'at1.SPACE offers you the best wellbeing facility in the East Midlands, and access to some of the regions most respected practitioners.In addition, Yasmin holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and a 40-hour Advanced Pranayama qualification.She was awarded a First in the Family Scholarship to attend The Nottingham University where she completed her degree in Sociology. She continues her Charity, fundraising, and efforts to bridge the gap between complementary and mainstream medicine and takes a keen interest in the wellbeing of women. For her recent work within the community and with under graduates Yasmin holds an Industry Fellowship with The Nottingham Trent University.at1.SPACE is an independent business in its entirety.
