Good Things Foundation Australia is a social change organisation focussed on improving people’s lives through digital technology. I play a key role in the development and implementation of Good Things Foundation Australia’s communications and advocacy activities with a particular focus on producing multi-channel communications to reach Australian audiences, stakeholders and government. My role is pivotal to raising the profile of digital inclusion in Australia. It focuses on telling the story of Good Things Foundation Australia, showcasing the positive social impact of our work, profiling the work of our community partners and the people they support, and raising awareness of the importance of digital inclusion programs.I am responsible for monitoring the external media and policy environment, writing submissions and developing position statements on key digital inclusion issues, including bringing together an evidence base, defining community, corporate and government-led solutions to challenges, and writing/producing engaging communications that get cut-through.
