It was rewarding watching these students improve academically and gain confidence in themselves and their capabilities when it comes to writing, retaining information, and understanding ideas and concepts.Overall, I strengthened my communication skills by changing the way I communicate to best reach the student I was working with, which is a necessary skill within all work environments. I improved my punctuality and organisational skills as I would often have to factor in travel time, on top of multiple sessions most afternoons a week.
